Quality, Value & Service are the philosophies on which we've built our business. The Squires family have been trading in the Skegness area of Lincolnshire for three generations, starting out in the Caravan trade, then moving back into the Carpet business where George Squires cut his teeth around Nottingham in the 1950's.

1981 saw the foundation of the current business as it stands today when George and Holly Squires opened Rainbow Carpets on Drummond Road in Skegness. This was a huge step for the family, having sold the caravan site in Chapel St. Leonards, and proved to be a great success.

However, George and Holly decided to relocate Rainbow Carpets to it's current location in Hogsthrorpe, near Skegness in order to keep overheads down and find a more central location on the Lincolnshire coast. Now trading as Rainbow Carpets & Beds, the business is still trading from the same location today and is very much involved in supplying carpets and beds to the caravan industry as well as providing a quality service to the domestic market, as well as complete solutions to hotels and nursing homes.

In 1994, when looking for a suitable location for expansion of the business, we were fortunate to find the perfect location on the High Street of the delightfully unspoilt village of Sutton on Sea, just outside of Mablethorpe, giving us a commanding position just yards away from the beach. We decided to brand this store as Squire Furnishings and cater mainly to the retirement market as well as the tourist industry. It's from here that we built our reputation for supplying some of the very best furniture available today at sensible prices, combined with our legendary levels of customer service.

We have now been serving Lincolnshire, South Yorkshire, Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire Leicestershire Rutland and Cambridgeshire with genuine Quality Furniture, Flooring, Beds & Home Furnishings from our current location in Sutton on Sea since March 18th 1995 and we still trade with the same philosophies today.

This website began in 2005 with just a handful of pages but has grown steadily and is still fully maintained by Andrew Squires.
